About Rankin Capital

Rankin Capital Group Ltd. is a private holding company — the parent umbrella for operating businesses built by founder Ryan Rankin. It is not a fund, a VC firm, or a passive investment vehicle. There are no external investors and no LPs. It's a holding structure for companies that are actively built, operated, and owned under one roof.

No. Rankin Capital Group Ltd. is not a registered investment firm or fund. It doesn't manage external capital, raise funds, or take passive stakes in other companies. It's a founder-led holding company that owns and operates its own businesses directly.

Ryan Rankin — founder, operator, and the only person behind the group. If you reach out, you're talking to him directly. No delegation chain, no managing partners.

The Portfolio Companies

Currently two: JobCraft.ca and Serply.ca. Both are active, operating companies with real products and real clients. JobCraft is an AI-powered job search platform for Canadians. Serply is a premium reputation, SEO, and social media management service. Both are founder-led and held under Rankin Capital Group Ltd. as the parent entity.

JobCraft.ca is a Canadian-built AI job search platform designed to help job seekers beat the filters and get hired in a broken system. It generates tailored resumes and cover letters, provides interview prep, and surfaces jobs from company career pages and non-standard sources that major job boards miss. The tagline says it plainly: "They use AI to keep you out, we use AI to get you in."

Serply.ca is a premium reputation and growth engine offering SEO, social media content generation and management, and reputation management — all founder-led and strategically direct. It's built for local businesses, realtors, consultants, and authority-driven brands who need to control how they show up online. The work is hands-on and senior-level — no account managers, no bloated retainers.

No. They're distinct companies with separate products, separate clients, and separate markets. JobCraft is a direct-to-consumer platform for job seekers. Serply is a B2B service for brands and local businesses. They share a parent company and a philosophy, but they operate independently.

Working Together

Not currently by design. The group is focused on building and operating its own brands. That said, if the right opportunity came along — practical, high-leverage, and a clear fit with the model — it wouldn't be off the table. If you have something worth discussing, reach out.

Email ryan@rankincapital.ca directly, or use the contact form on this site. You'll get a real response from Ryan, not a support queue.
